Pebbles On A Beach

How often do you stop to really look at your surroundings? The detail and the beauty in everyday objects and the nature around us?

It’s often the case that our heads are so full , so busy with thinking - analysing, evaluating, list making.

Our minds can sometimes be like monkeys jumping from one branch to another. And often they can feel quite chaotic.

This is what minds do - and whilst we can’t stop our thoughts or think ‘nothing’ we can learn to calm our monkey mind to create some space and calm. And appreciate the here and now.

We can practice noticing when our minds are all knotted up - notice our thoughts coming and going without becoming so ‘involved’ and feeding the cycle.

We are not our thoughts and through Mindfulness we can learn to create space from our busy, stressful, doing mind. With self compassion, kindness and non judgement.
