Knowing When To Stop

I’ve been juggling too much recently.

Scanning each page of my diary, trying to work out how to shoehorn everything in.

I cope with stress pretty well most of the time. I am generally good at tuning into my body when I am spending too much time in my ‘doing’ brain.

It helps me take a step away from what could easily become an overwhelming, insurmountable mountain of things to accomplish and fit in to each day.

And tuning into my body made me realise yesterday that I needed to stop.

Take a step off the wheel and take a moment to regroup.

And make a few decisions to be a little kinder to myself.

Take off a layer of ‘to do’ and replan a more ‘doable’ schedule.

So that I can spend a little more time ‘being’ over the next few weeks.

And it feels better ❤️
